Manages projects for EMC test lab, maintains RoHS database for CE certification and assist team members with other agency projects.


  • Coordinates with outside test agencies to gain and maintain appropriate approvals for BUNN equipment.
  • Conducts testing and records data.
  • Conducts investigations and prepares required documentation to submit to agencies in support of approvals process.
  • Performs EMC tests on products to assure compliance, determine performance specifications, provide competitive analysis and evaluate product/component design life.
  • Evaluate, compile and maintain RoHS data for CE certification.
  • Works with component suppliers to assure compliance with agency procedures and investigating any variations; takes appropriate actions to resolve any variations in required time frame.
  • Maintains complete and accurate records of required standards, components and procedures.
  • Maintains complete and accurate database of required information and provides information to management of agency status on all projects.
  • Assists with product design, prototyping and testing as required.
  • Helps maintain a neat and orderly lab and office.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


 Bachelor’s Degree in electrical or electronic engineering or engineering technology; mechanical and electronic aptitude necessary; ability to analyze components; ability to communicate proficiently, both verbal and written, to all levels of the organization; ability to manage multiple projects is a must; familiarity with BUNN beverage equipment is a significant plus; must be able to read/understand engineering drawings and system diagrams; must be competent in working with power sources up to 500 VAC, 50 and 60 Hz including making connections and taking measurements of voltage, current and power; EMC testing experience and RoHS knowledge  is a plus.
