This position serves as a primary resource responsible for the development and execution of product reliability plans for retail and commercial beverage equipment in support of meeting the Organization’s customer satisfaction goals.   This person will manage all aspects of the reliability growth process for multiple projects from Feasibility through Launch, including the development of test plans, timing, budgets and resources requirements needed to meet project targets.  


  • Review project requirements for reliability deliverables and provide feedback on cost, timing and identify constraints that may prevent meeting project objectives
  • Develop and document reliability verification plans needed to achieve reliability targets
  • Work closely with Design Teams to identify reliability risks and monitor changes over the course of product development to adjust the reliability plan as needed to address those risks
  • Participate in Team meetings related product design development and complete task assignments as required.
  • Develop detailed test protocols which verify desired product and component reliability
  • Engage with Test Lab Engineers and Technicians to direct their activity in the development of test fixturing and software needed to perform the necessary testing.
  • Monitor status of testing to assure project timing targets are met and to provide updates as needed to the Design Team and Leadership.
  • Analyze test or field data using applicable software tools to predict component and system reliability
  • Participate in root cause and corrective action activities for field issues which in includes data analysis as well as part tear down and analysis
  • Maintain detailed, accurate and comprehensive project documentation.


  • Product Reliability Professional with a bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering 10+ years experience in product development testing for reliability 
  • Advanced degree or professional certifications are a plus
  • Strong knowledge in the application of “data driven” statistical methods for verification of design robustness as it applies to product reliability, evidenced by experience, training or certification in the following areas
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering
  • Design or Validation of Mechanical and Electromechanical Components
  • ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer
  • Six Sigma Certification (DFSS, DMAIC) – Black Belt certification a plus
  • Design of Experiments, Statistical & Probability,  Reliability Distributions
  • Reliability modeling and prediction using analytical, test or field data
  • Generation of custom reliability test plans and protocols using accelerated test methods
  • Root Cause and Corrective Action methods (Shainin, Six Sigma, 8D, etc.)
  • Knowledge of reliability and statistical software (Reliasoft, Minitab, etc.)
  • Hands on experience in failed part analysis
  • FMEAs, Design Verification Plans, Test Analysis & Reporting
  • Project Management
  • VOC, Technical Requirements Review, Specification Generation
