Responsible to provide technical support for the development and implementation of electronic projects and products.  The position requires a talented individual with strong electrical and mechanical abilities who is detail oriented. The individual will be required to build, test and qualify prototype machine concepts for Engineering and Core Team evaluation.


  • Performs hands-on assembly and modifications of electronics and equipment.
  • Tests and documents electronics and equipment for performance and quality.
  • Tests and validates software for performance and quality.
  • Tests prototypes to insure product requirements are met.
  • Builds special fixtures and test equipment.
  • Drafts assembly and test procedures.
  • Evaluates progress and results and may recommend changes in procedures.
  • May have assigned responsibility for on-going engineering support of existing products.
  • Support engineering product development and New Product Development process
  • Assists in each phase of design and development of new or modified products.
  • Generates sketches for prototyping and detailing.
  • Procures parts for prototypes and test equipment.
  • Assists production assembly as required.
  • Assists in the cleaning, calibration and storage of tools and equipment.
  • Helps maintain a neat and orderly work area.
  • Warranty review and documentation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


AS degree in electrical/mechanical technology or equivalent is required; a minimum of 4 years of engineering experience in electronics, manufacturing, or related area; familiarity with BUNN Products or products of similar complexity; understanding of electronics theory, manufacturing processes, use of electronic test equipment, analysis of electronic component data sheets, analysis of mechanical prints & tolerances, sketching, sketching, layout and drafting work; good computer skills (especially Excel) and communications skills.
