  • Overview

    Primary Technical Support representative within an assigned territory.  Provides training and technical support to all BUNN’s stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    • Participates in and conducts operational and technical training programs on BUNN and other manufacturer’s Commercial Beverage Equipment for customers, BUNN personnel and third-party service providers.
    • Provides formal, informal or web-based training formats as appropriate.
    • Determines training objectives.
    • Writes training instruction, including outline, text, handouts and tests.
    • Designs laboratory exercises.
    • Instructs class on safety, installation, programming, maintenance and repair of equipment.
    • Administers written and practical exams and writes performance reports to evaluate trainees' performance.
    • Participates in the development of Technical Training Programs.
    • Develops training plans to support new equipment releases and BUNNserve installation   Programs.
    • Investigates product quality issues.
    • Assists with shows as required.
    • Performs on-site troubleshooting of BUNN Commercial Beverage Equipment and provides
    • feedback to appropriate BUNN personnel to ensure timely and appropriate resolution to equipment or operational issues.
    • Communicates accurate and timely information both to and from customers.
    • Participates in the development and implementation of Customer Support programs such as, BUNNserve programs, Sales initiatives and Technical training meetings.
    • Travels as required for training and resolution of customer issues, installing, maintaining and troubleshooting BUNN equipment
    • Actively promotes BUNN Quality Initiatives.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Two years of college or vocational training in electrical/mechanical areas or equivalent experience
    • Two or more years’ experience as technical trainer
    • Comprehensive knowledge of computer programs, including Windows and Microsoft applications Ability to service all BUNN equipment
    • In-depth knowledge of all BUNN product lines
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Ability to travel and must live near a major airport
    • Good organizational skills with attention to detail
    • Highly motivated and goal oriented.
