  • Overview

    Primary responsibility is to support engineering efforts to develop new products, identify and resolve current product and legacy issues as an individual contributor. Review all product designs to ensure compliance with all departmental Product Development processes and procedures including Agency compliance requirements. Function and work independently while partnering with other department peers to design, develop and implement quality solutions. Be responsible for partnering with other EE Project Engineers to effectively utilize other hardware resources including techs and lab resources. Must be a Permanent Resident or US Citizen to qualify.  Must be legally auathorized to work in the U.S. - Cannot sponsor H1-B Visa.

    • Root Cause Failure analysis of Product Field returns
    • Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
    • Product Validation
    • Value Engineering/Improvement
    • Component Obsolescence
    • Test Engineering
    • Data Analysis

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from an accredited college or university;
    • 3+ years’ experience in electronic product development;
    • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office;
    • Familiarity with PCB layout, schematic capture, circuit simulation, prototyping;
    • Demonstrated project management and problem-solving skills;
    • Experience with interfacing with external contract manufacturing resources and suppliers is a must.
    • Demonstrated communication and facilitation skills;
    • Experience with supervising resources is a nice to have.
    • Self-motivated and capable of working at a high level with minimal supervision;
    • Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
    • Experience in developing beverage dispensing products or building electromechanical systems is a nice to have.
    • Leadership or supervisory skills is nice to have.
